My 40 year old Les Paul definitely needed a tune-up and after checking out the usual music store repair people, I found JJ’s Guitar Repair. After reading JJ’s reviews on line, I brought my guitar into John for a setup and to check out one of my tuning keys that I thought was going bad. To my surprise, my guitar was ready later that same day and with amazing results. My LP has never played or sounded better…ever, and he was able to resolve my tuning key issue without having to replace it. This man does it all. Custom guitar work, restrings/setups, tube installation/rebiasing…can’t beat that. I’ve been happy to bring John my business over the course of the last several months and will continue to do so. Definitely a satisfied customer. Thank you for your craft, sir!

I needed the stock DiMarzio pickups swapped out for a set of SD pickups (screamin demon / 59). John got me in fast and was done in a couple days. He had to do a little grinding to get the new pickups to fit. All in all, he charged a very reasonable price and the guitar sounds better than ever! Thanks, John!

I took what I thought was a decent sounder Fender Jazz V to John for a setup and restring. Now I know what my bass is supposed to sound an feel like. He did an amazing job.
